I love reading stories like this, when companies are compensated for their loss and pirates are shut down (umm, and fined $4.1 million. Owch.) My favorite line in the story? " 'Modern-day pirates ought to expect modern-day penalties,' said Chuck Rosenberg, U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia."
Software Pirate Ends Up Paying The Price
* edited to add: the story WAS here: http://www.redorbit.com/news/technology/632623/software_pirate_ends_up_paying_the_price/index.html?source=r_technology but is now gone. 'doh.
These comments have been invaluable to me as is this whole site. I thank you for your comment.

We have been informed of copy right violations from a site selling a lot of our designers products created from actions, scripts and templates as element packs, which is a clear violation of most of our designers TOU.
In addition, they are offering CU and a CU4CU license on the products they are selling. That means if your products are being sold on there, they may be sold as CU4CU product to someone else.
Unless you gave this store special permission to use your product in this manor, you may want to check to see if any or your products are in violation there.

My actions were processed into products that are being sold separately, which is against my TOU. And besides it makes changes in
element, which is another violation of my TOU.
And I saw her do it with all designs.
It is a store that is committing a great error, openly violating
terms of use in many designs.
