Really, folks, it's not as dirty as it sounds.
In the past two months, I've had two crowns and a filling. Long story. When I got my filling last Wednesday, the dentist gave me a ton of shots to make that side numb. When I came home, I noticed a spot on my left cheek, pretty close to my mouth, that was ghost white and remained numb after everything else was fine. The next day it was a bruise. Here we are, 6 days later, and it's still a bruise. Worse yet, when I try to smile or even move that part of my face, the dimple that has been there my whole life IS NOT THERE. My dentist broke my dimple! This sucks! I'm hoping it will self-correct soon, 'cause that's one of the last remaining cute things about me. :)
