Man, we've had a busy week!
On Sunday Jake and I bought some pumpkin decorating paint and sponges, and some new Sharpies. (I'm putting off carving the pumpkins as many years as I can.) We now have a cute little pumpkin patch out front where our bushes were before the heat killed them.
Tuesday, as you know, was Lou's birthday. He shares a birthday with Uncle Roger, and we all got together at Nannie and Pa's new house (like, brand new. the movers were still finishing up) to celebrate.
On Friday, Priscilla and the girls AND Nana and Zoe came over after work for pizza and to play. But I didn't take pictures of that. It's actually fun to have 5 little kids running around all over the house. (But it's also fun when they go home and I'm left with just one. heh.)
Today Priscilla and I took the kids (minus the baby) to a local "Halloween in the Park," and HOLY COW it was crazy. We didn't expect for so many people to be there. The kids had fun trick-or-treating at vendor booths, playing on inflatable slides, and on a hay ride. Then we came home and let them just hang out. And P and I watched Grey's and The Office yet again, so we could talk while watching it. I like getting out and doing stuff, but crowds annoy the crap out of me, so it's fun to just sit at home and talk while the kids play.
