I know I've written this exact same thing before, but how sad is it that the thing I'm most excited about this morning is that I have leftover pizza for lunch?!
Yesterday Lou was working late and I forgot (we drive separate on Wednesdays because I teach piano after work) and I got home and was waiting for 30 minutes, wondering where Lou and Jake were. Finally I called my mom and she was waiting for someone to come get Jake. But I didn't want to drive out there, so once again -- see previous entry -- I told her I'd buy us a pizza if she brought him to me. So we watched Idol together -- it was SO MEAN to make Jordin think she was going home! Mom and I freaked out and almost cried. Jordin and Melinda HAVE to be the top two. I mean come on, people!
Anyway, I'm also excited about my shows tonight, and Priscilla and the girls coming over to watch them with us.
The kids are getting school pictures taken today, and I told Jake if he is good in his pictures and not all weird and freaky (he acts weird with people he doesn't know and when he feels put on the spot) that I will give him $5. I'm not above bribery. I'm paying for these dang pictures and they're his first school pictures, I want them to be good. Anyway, I don't buy him toys anymore, he has to buy them himself with a $2 a week allowance, so he's very motivated by money right now.

Hope the school pictures went well. I totally bribe Ryan all the time lol. His school photos are coming up on May 15 so we're practicing his 'good' smile and not his over-exagerated, squinty eyed smile :)
