Four and a half is a weird age. Because on one hand, Jake is going through a random regression. He randomly says "mama" in the manner of a one year old to get my attention. He is clingy and whiny and cries when I leave the room. He told me the other day "I get sad when you leave me with someone. I just always want to be with you." He doesn't want to spend the night at Nana's anymore because "I just want to stay with you all the time. I'm your baby." I'm all about the mama love here, people, but a girl needs a break sometimes. I get so much freaking work done when Jake is at Nana's overnight! Also, I could do without the banshee crying when I drop him off at Sunday School.
But on the other hand, one of the MANY times we were watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles this weekend, Jake excitedly told me "I love this show. This is the best show EVER!" And he won't watch Sesame Street or Bear in the Big Blue House AT ALL anymore -- so he's definitely growing up.
And he's wearing size one shoes. The thirteen and a halfs just weren't cutting it anymore, so he's in ones. I'm hoping he'll stay in his size 5 pants and shorts through the summer, 'cause I'm not in the mood to spring for new clothes again quite yet.
Anyone else have a 4 year old who is TOTALLY RANDOM?
Um, hello? LOL

YES! Corrin turns 4 this weekend and she is very random. One moment she sounds like she's 12 and the next is like a toddler.
Dang...size 1. We just moved to a size 11.

Ryan's 5 and a half and STILL random!! He's in size 13 shoes so Jake has outgrown him there.
