Have I mentioned how much we love this movie? Or more appropriately, how obsessed Jake is with the characters. He would rather play with the toys than watch the movie, I think. We got the soundtrack last week and Jake LOVES "Life is a Highway." The entire soundtrack is awesome, actually. (Except I have "Route 66" in my head right now!) #9 on the soundtrack is the instrumental music that's playing during the race at the beginning of the movie. When it got to the part in the music where, in the movie, McQueen jumped over Leakless and flew into the air to avoid the wreck, Jake took the McQueen he had in his hand, moved it slowly through the air like a plane, and said "Look, he's flying!!!!" And he does this over and over, listening to that track so he can get to the part where he flies, and act it out. I take this as a sign of his genius, but that's just me.

Cars is the very favorite in our house too! Jay watches it at LEAST once a day. We could quote the whole move. (My personal favorite: "Tractors is so dumb!")
