Hooray, another Belmont person on American Idol!
You are going to be amazed by Melinda Doolittle. She is such a great person, and can sing like you wouldn't believe. (I think she was two years ahead of me in school?) Belmont has a clip on their website that you can watch from her American Idol audition -- she's going to HOLLYWOOD. I guarantee you she'll be in the top 10.

She has a GREAT story, which you'll probably hear eventually, about how when she was younger she was tone-deaf and she wanted SO badly to be able to sing, so she prayed to God to give her the voice and a good ear, and she said it just totally happened. She's awesome. :)
