Lou and I had a . . . umm . . . heated discussion early last week. He called me the next day and asked if we were still friends. "I don't know," I said. "You might have to buy me something pretty. Or something chocolate."
So he said that he would, and I needed to wait a few days so he could arrange it.

Yes, he got me a cake from the bakery that Aunt Julie's mom owns. Something pretty AND something chocolate -- pretty smart!
