Ok, let's talk about last night's Grey's Anatomy.
Raise your hand if the part at the end where McSteamy walked out of the bathroom in a towel was your favorite moment of the entire hour.
Ok, now put your hand back down and wipe the drool off of your mouth.
And if you want to see that moment again? Click here for the YouTube.
And OMG, if you want to see a crazy YouTube, click here. Ellen P. has the best job on the planet. I'm just sayin'.
So last night.
I felt bad for Addison, spending the whole day at the bar. Telling Izzie that Mer is a slut. ha ha. Ok, that part was funny AND sad. I think Addie deserves to be happy. It's not within Derek's capabilities to make her happy, he loves Mer too much. And even though they tried, he never would have gotten over the Mark thing (the FIRST Mark thing. not the hot stepping out of the shower Mark thing. That's something *I* won't get over. ha ha ha.)
I love Callie. Absolutely love her. I'm glad they've been making her more like-able. When she stepped in and said the panties were hers. And then walked in on Mer/Der in the stairway and just teased her about it. I know she's a freak and all, but she's a cool freak! And I think she's totally hot. Dancing in her underwear? Awesome. And I love that they had Meredith tell George that Callie's hot. Nice that there are some non-size-zero women shakin' it on TV. (Although really? I don't think she's THAT big. She just looks big by comparison to the other girls. And well, 'cause George seems to be a little short. heh. If she were standing next to me, I'm pretty sure that *I* would look like the fat chick, not her.)
Anyway.
Total, total cuteness that George was jealous. That shows that he really does care. Alex doing the patient, I could have done without. I want him to be the good guy who gets back with Izzie -- although Izzie needs more time to heal and get herself back to just kind-of-crazy, not full-blown-crazy. (Truthfully? As I rewatched my season 1 and season 2 DVDs, I liked Izzie less and I liked Alex more and more.)
Mer deciding she needs to date both Der and Finn? Awesome. She's never really DATED Der . . . just had the one night stand, then he was pursuing her, then she gave in. I think Mer and Der have a LOT to talk about and he needs to win her trust back. Finn, well I don't think Finn has a chance. But he's such a good guy, Mer isn't ready to let go of him. (Damn, girl, share the wealth a little. ha ha ha.)
The whole Bailey/Izzie thing . . . I get that things went out of control and Bailey feels guilty. But big picture? Denny didn't die because of the heart stuff, he died after receiving a good heart and his body accepted it -- a blood clot as a result of a successful surgery is NO one's fault. So I don't quite 100% get Bailey's guilt. It was awesome that she finally talked to Izzie. But how do you accept someone back into the hospital once they've done something like Izzie did? That's like letting a sex offender teach school again -- at some point, you lose credibility and can't be trusted in that line of work. It should be interesting to see where the writer's take this one.
I need to re-watch this episode. I'm SO mad that my tape cut off 5 minutes before the episode was done. (I tape it 'cause I always miss something because Jake is distracting.) I missed a lot of good stuff those last 5 minutes! (I. NEED. TiVo.)
Your thoughts? (On the episode. Not on whether or not I need TiVo.)
Funny, I didn't like the "dating" thing. I thought it was too easy. But we'll see. The McSteamy thing was quite something. Oh my! But again, easy to villify Addie so Der can go after Mer (I love your abbreviations!). lol
I really like Alex. Now, here's a wild thought. When Finn brought Izzie food, I was all "Oooh, now there's a cute couple" - he he he
And I LOVE Callie. She is so in-your-face f-u cool. LOVE HER. Wanna be like her when I grow up. And I think she's GORGEOUS. Seriously, I think she's the prettiest one on the show. Stunning. And ballsy. Great combination!
