Lou just let me know the Sears repair guy has left, and our fridge is once again working.
One day last week, Lou woke up to find a wet kitchen floor and everything in the freezer melted . . . 'cause you know, that's a great way to start your day. We lost SO much food -- especially frozen dinners I bring to work for lunch. THAT SUCKS. There were a few times last week when I had chocolate milk and Cheeto's for lunch (and no, that is NOT an approved meal on my diet, for those of you keeping track.)
Lou bought a mini-fridge to tide us over, since Sears sucked so bad they couldn't come until today. We had to have something for milk for Jake. So Lou's going to keep that little fridge upstairs in his "office" (computer playroom) now, which means during football season I might not see him at all anymore.
On the plus side, the fridge has been completely emptied and cleaned. Gotta look at the bright side here.
