Ok, so this article, I'm really proud of. I worked dang hard on it, lots of reading and re-reading it to make sure it said just what I wanted it to say.
I've pretty much put my heart out on display for everyone to see with this.
I wrote about Jake's issues and quirks and his diagnosis and my reaction -- and how it relates to my scrapbooking. This is the most I've ever "put myself out there," but I really think it's a story that needs to be told. And maybe some parents will see a bit of their child in what I say and take action on my P.S., which suggests getting an evaluation if you have suspicions about your child's development.
What an AMAZING article Jen! TRULY!!!!!
I AM SOOOOO PROUD OF YOU!!!!
CONGRATS on everything, all of your hard work is paying off and you deserve it!!!!
Love you,
Kelly
PS Gonna try to register to post this comment on that website too! :)

I'm printing this for my husband to read and trying not to cry. Our son has a medical condition that caused him to nearly lose his life at 1 month old. His first four weeks were so hard, and it is evident from his photos that he was not well. My husband would rather that I not mention anything about that in his scrapbook, because the memories are too painful to him. I do mention it on some pages though, because I want my son to have a realistic picture of his early days, and maybe give him some insight as to why he is so very important to us.
Great article!
