Only a boy would think of this.
Jake was playing happily on the kitchen floor yesterday while I was in the living room. He suddenly started yelling that there was an ant and that I needed to come kill it.
It's that time of year when ants start making their way into our kitchen, and we have to fight them every day. So I figured this year I could teach him to not freak out for every TINY ant he sees.
"Squash it," I said.
He had a small dump truck nearby, and tried to run it over with that. It didn't work.
He jumps up and says "I know! I'll get my baseball bat!"
Only a boy.

That's a boy for sure! :)
I will be in BIG OL TROUBLE if I end up with three because I hate frogs lol.
We get the damn ants in our bathroom this time of year. SO annoying.
Makes you feel dirty (and pissed) when bugs decide to stay in your home without your permission. lol

PPS We keep our bathroom, just as your kitchen is, the damn bugs come anyway!

LOL That last PPS was supposed to read,
we keep our bathroom clean, just like your kitchen I am sure, but the damn bugs come anyway, during certain parts of the year. GRRRR. Now I can't remember if the ants come to our bathroom during the warm or cold season. I will find out soon. lol.
