You know, for as much as Lou makes fun of me for all my scrapbooking stuff, he does "get it" sometimes and do something pretty cool. We had a birthday party for me on Friday -- Priscilla and the girls came over (more pictures from that later), and this is the cake he got me:
Since tomorrow is my birthday, I'm taking the day off work. Jake and I will sleep in late, then I'll take him to my mom's for 1/2 a day, while I go back home to sit and enjoy being alone (which I am not much at all any more), and then I'll go to my mom's in the afternoon for a little birthday celebration with her. Then at 5 p.m. we have to leave to go to Ryan's house for Alexis' piano lessons. (Hey, it's my birthday, but that's cash I lose if I don't teach a lesson, and our weeks are so busy there's no time for a make-up.) ANYWAY, happy 27 to me, and I will talk to you guys later!
