Mama, I three now.

Probably the funniest thing Jake is doing these days is telling me he's 3.  He started this about 2 weeks ago, but I was waiting on these pictures Sheri took to talk about it.  (Umm, and I was in Photoshop putting the pictures together to post here and I figured hell, as long as I was in the neighborhood I'd just make a scrapbook page about it.)  The journaling says:

Out of nowhere lately Jake has decided that he’s 3.  If I ask him how old he is, he says “I three now, Mama.”  If I say in passing to someone else that he is two years old, he pipes up, “No, I three!”  Sometimes just sitting in the back seat of the car driving with me, he’ll randomly let me know “I ALREADY three.”  When I say “Dude, no you’re not, you’re two,” he says “No, I  THREE!!!”  I don’t know where this sudden obsession with age came from, especially considering he had NO idea how old he was before this.  I used to tell him he was two and he would look at me like I’m crazy.  But all of a sudden he kind of GETS the age thing.  And he wants to be three.  Give it a few more months, buddy.

How cute! Logan has just started this too. He told someone yesterday at a birthday party that we were at that he "just turned 4". He won't be 4 until January! Silly boys, where do they get this stuff?!

What a darling! Ryan loves saying 'I'm free', can't quite get the 'th' sound yet! Now he's looking forward to being 4 because then it's close to Christmas.
Jake's hair looks really blonde in those pics, I guess it's all that summer sun. Gorgeous pics.
