I am sick of blog trolls. It needs to stop.
There is someone in Lombard, Illinois that has no friends and has nothing better to do with her time than be jealous of OUR friendships. It's not our fault that we are close. Get over yourself. Stop being a bitch, and go away. You are really pissing me off. It's one thing to get an occasional snarky comment from someone who disagrees with a particular post. But this woman is fucking STALKING our blogs, and that is sick.
For the rest of us, let's do something productive about it. Here is her IP address from her visit to MY blog: 69.210.242.192 The internet service she uses is through ameritech.net.
I would like for everyone to search their comments for this IP address to narrow down/weed out possibilities for who it is. How to do this:
If you have Typepad:
go to the comment section of your blog. List comments. Under filter options, where it says "view comments where the," select "IP address" for the first box, then paste in this address and hit the "filter" button. This will list for you if this person has ever commented on your blog, and we can weed out who it may or may not be. If you find out who it is, fucking OUT them. If through finding IP address of comments you see that they have commented under a different IP address, list that here so we can check the other addresses, too.
If you want to block this person from commenting on your blog:
in Typepad, go to the Control Panel of your account. In the "overview" tab, under Control Panel Shortcuts, there is a "Block someone from commenting" link. Click on this, type in the IP address, and hit "ADD." If we all block this person from commenting, she can't keep pissing us off. Of course, she can go to a library or a friend's house to comment, but that would just be fucking sad.
I personally think anyone who gets a mean comment from her should delete the comment. We have the capability to easily do this -- leaving it up just lets the hurtful message be read by others. What's the point of that?
I will continue to research how else we can track down this person -- we are NOT going to let her ruin what we have. Bitch, consider yourself warned.
I emailed you, but wanted to let you know that iP didn't come up at my blog. Probably a good thing, but sorry I couldn't help.

Glad to hear you're taking the bull by the horns and putting a stop to all the nastiness.

I am with Heather, don`t post much, but read every day. So, do so women never leave junior high behind? I love to read about all of the friendships. Makes me appreciate my good friends, perhaps the stalker is a sad friendless person. And maybe with good reason. I do enjoy your blog. Shannon

Jen: YOU'RE AWESOME.
I'm so glad you're exposing this idiot and trying to put a stop to these Jr. High games. I've never had any nasty comments but they way you suggest they should be handled is exactly right. Just delete and block. These people WANT attention and lacking any self esteem and redeemable value they settle for the negative kind. Playing games with them only eggs them on and gives them the cheap thrills they're seeking.
It really is very sad to have nothing but immaturity and hatefulness to contribute. Unfortunately, on the Internet it is all too common. But there are definitely more good apples than bad and although the bad ones stink, the good ones ROCK.
So keep on keeping on, ladies!

I think it's great you are asking everyone to help find out who is causing all this trouble on Kelly and VJ's blogs, and this person also targeted Holly as well.
I do read every day, I just don't post comments too much.

Stupid fucking trolls. I go away for awhile and what happens? All hell breaks loose. Checked my stats - no one by that IP has left a comment. Good luck finding who it is!
Love you girl. Oh - and I'm working on those before and after pictures you requested! heh.

You gotta love sitemeter and geobytes ip address locator huh? I found the same info over the weekend...already have them blocked but if they want to post bad enough, sad enough, they will do it from library or a friends house, like you already said.
It's been real fun seeing VJen's blog turn into a KELLY IS SOOOOO FUCKING UGLY BLOG, let me tell you. I love that my so called ugliness has provided the www with a ton of entertainment the last few days.
The idiots have been on my site A LOT and I do mean A LOT.
I had put up passwords on my blogs and had planned to not post again for a few weeks, don't have the heart or desire for that, and I didn't want to receive BS comments before this weekend, but I realized it won't matter if they can't get to my blog and comment to me because they have totally burned me on someone's else blog...unless I never read blogs ever again, I can't NOT read bad comments about me apparently.
Anyway, I have taken off the passwords but doubt I will post anytime soon.
Please know I love you and thank you for your email this morning, you are the BEST! See you in a few days
Love
Kelly
PS If they HAVE commented to you and you did delete it right away, PLEASE let me know. Be honest. I deserve to know what they said about me. I wasn't sure if they had commented to you yet or not.

Good for you Jen, tracking down the troll. I'm about to check to see if that IP address has been on my blog.
Oh and trolls? Fuck off. Get back to class.

Jen...
You Rock! I don't understand why people can't play nice?
Let's get this idiot...if they're in Lombard - that's only a 40 minute drive for me :)
For the record, I keep your instructions for putting buttons on my blog (although God knows I haven't updated it recently) right next to my computer - thanks for those and all the other great stuff you do!
By the way - my son's name is Jake too :)
Kristi
found you from IP and also Kelly's blog...

You can contact Ameritech.com's abuse hotline at 800-648-1626 or by email at [email protected].
My hubby is a tech guru and he looked this up after I mentioned what is going on. They won't tell you who it is, but they'll more than likely do something about it. I just thought you would like to know.
