(so how many of you are up on my lingo now and know that SB LOs means Scrapbook Layouts?) heh
This first one, I have been DYING to share the pictures with you since I took them on Christmas Eve. But I knew I was going to do something really special with them on a SB page so I waited and waited. I think these are my current favorite pics of Jake -- when he's brushing his teeth is about the only time he will sit still for a picture! I'm very thankful that he enjoys teeth-brushing and even asks to do it like 6 times a day -- teeth are important!!!
Ok, and this second LO is the first one I've completed in a new format -- 8x8, as opposed to 8.5x11. I've started a "Mom&Me" book for Jake -- a SB with pictures of just me and Jake, and a place to write him letters and tell him things that I wouldn't have a chance to say otherwise. Some things will be pure mush, some will be fun, some will be memories of him, some will be mini-lectures on life. It will be a work in progress, never really finished (because we'll always have new pictures of us and I'll always have something else to tell him!) and it's my fun project, apart from the scrapbooks I feel obligated (in a way) to keep up with for family and keeping up with his life. (and thank you again, sister Sheri, for taking all those rockin' pics of me and Jake. At first I wondered why you took this picture of my backside, but I understand now that the background and the overall visual was just too cool to pass up!)

These are great!! Jake is so adorable and I love the picture Sheri took...very clever!!! I think it's a great idea to have a scrapbook of just you and Jake!! It's really sweet!! I'm actually in MT right now, after about 11 hours on planes! I'm, of course, freezing, but I think I'll survive!! I hope you're having a better day than you were yesterday!! Talk to you later.
