Well, we are back. We had a really fun weekend, but now I need a vacation to recover from my vacation. I am SO tired! Between my cousin Kim's 3 kids and Jake, we had 4 kids under the age of 4 in an apartment for 5 days -- and NONE of them sleep through the night!!! The weekend really made me admire Kim more than ever for all she does with her kids -- she takes everything in stride, doesn't lose her temper, is always calm and patient. I asked her about it, and she IS just as frustrated as you would expect with kids ages 1, 2.5, and 3.5, but she deals with it so well. Her days consist of cooking, feeding the kids, cleaning their messes, changing diapers, doing laundry, giving baths, grocery shopping, then doing it all again. It's a never ending cycle. Not to mention taking Isaiah to his appointments and trying to help him find a way to deal with the world despite his autism (and learning sign language to help the process along.) That alone is a huge challenge.
I will write more about our trip soon -- today is a catch-up day from being gone from work. I took a ton of pictures and I need to edit them (and I forgot the disk this morning. I'll get started on that tomorrow.) December is going to be extremely busy and I'm trying hard to be happy about the holidays instead of completely stressed. There's never enough time or money for things in December! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving -- I missed you all while I was gone!!!
Good to have you back hon! Good luck with everything girl! I know what you mean about needing a vacation after your vacation, we felt that way everytime we would travel to see any family.... thank God we are half done with that now. Thinking of you and cant wait to see the pics! Take care of yourself. THANK YOU for your comment today on me being tired. It is one of the sweetest comments I have ever received!

Glad you are back! I know what you mean, needing a vacation after taking a vacation. Um, yeah - that's a lot of kids four and under. I go nutso (really, I do) when there are more than a few around. Well, more than a few other than my own. Whenever I show up someplace, it seems I automatically triple the chaos. *sigh* Okay, I'm gonna shut up and go now. Love ya!

Welcome back! Missed your posts and I'm looking forward to seeing new photos - always love the photos :) I have the utmost admiration for Kim being a SAHM to 3 - OMG, I would go crazy and sit in a corner blubbering somewhere! SAHMs have the toughest job in the world.
