A sad day.

This is exactly how I feel today. And since I have absolutely nothing nice to say, I'm not going to say anything.

Update:

Ok I feel the need to comment on this picture. I wasn't making him cry for the effect of a picture, it's actually the opposite -- a lot of times when he's whining and pouting [you know, acting TWO], I'll take out the camera and take a picture of him, then show it to him on the screen [ah digital!] and it usually makes him stop. Well, that, and I don't want to just take pictures of him when he's happy and behaving wonderfully, because that's leaving out so many memories of our real life. Sometimes my beautiful wonderful child acts like a brat, and that's ok! I'm a grown up, and sometimes I act like a brat, too!

As I said I Kelly's blog twice now...

"I'm sorry you and a few others are sad. It makes me sad not everyone can be happy and reminds me of all the divisions on both sides."

Please note the "it makes me sad" not everyone is happy. It breaks my heart at the divisions. That was the point of my Nov. 1 post. It is truly bittersweet.
