Man, Jake loves his stickers. I just bought him some new ones at Hallmark -- they are so expensive! 4 packs cost me like $11. I had to buy them, though, because I found two packs with puppies on them, and one with stars, and Jake just loves stars. It's his favorite shape. I've stopped caring where he puts the stickers, and they are all over the dishwasher, the coffee table, the floor. . .
Lou bought Jake a little table and chairs for his birthday, and we put it in between my computer desk and the kitchen cabinet. So now Jake has a 
little corner that's all his. (If you click on the little picture, you can see the table and chairs. And in the picture below you can see the "A" you're about to hear about.) He christened his new space by coloring on the wall. He thinks he can write the letter A, and he thinks it's ok to write on the wall.
He scribbled in brown crayon on the wall, and I said "Jake, no, you are NOT supposed to draw on the wall. Color on the paper."
He pointed excitedly to the wall and said "A!!! A!!! A!!!"
I was trying to look very serious and not laugh. "Jacob, that is NOT an A, and you are NOT supposed to color on the walls!"
More excited pointing. "A!!! A!!! A!!!"
By this time I was trying so hard not to burst out laughing.
"Yes, Jake, that's a beautiful A, but please draw your next one on the paper, ok?"
"A!!! A!!! A!!!"

My house must look like yours! I have stickers and writing on my walls and furniture too! Peter thinks he is 'writing' and is so pleased with himself. We bought him his own little books to write in and even though he carries them everywhere, he still writes on the walls. Ken just has a fit and I found the Mr. Clean erasers work great on everything and leaves my walls clean.
The pictures of the baby are great! I need you to do our family photos!

What a cutie!! Ella will scribble a line on the paper and look at me and say "Ella"--as in I just wrote my name here. Too cute
His table looks nice. I want to get Ella one for her birthday

Very cute pictures, Jen! Could Jake be any sweeter??! His new table and chairs are great - Ryan still doesn't have his own table. He usually colours up at the dining area table (kneeling up on a cushion - accident waiting to happen really...) or sitting in his highchair. Now there's an idea for his birthday.
What a beautiful 'A' that was!
