So first of all . . . do you want something awesome? For free?
Well that's a silly question. Of course you do.
Sometimes students need to learn words - like numbers and colors - before they're actually ready to READ them. With that in mind, I have been working on a 7-part set of games and activities. I'm so excited to finally be releasing it today! And the first part of the set is FREE.
Warm your students up to learning to read color words with a cute game, and the three easiest words!*
Using the game cards red, yellow, and green, students move forward through this art-themed File Folder Game in a race to the finish.
After they are comfortable with these three colors, move them onto the activities in the accompanying product - your students will know their color words backwards and forwards by the time they're done!

* Why do I think red, yellow, and green are the 3 easiest color words?
- RED is a CVC word
- GREEN can be sounded out if you point out that two E's work together to represent the long E sound
- The YELL part of YELLOW can be sounded out by a beginning reader.
