So I was having a Facebook conversation today with a friend who was looking for direction. I asked her if she had ever made a steam-of-consciousness list of things that she loves, that matter to her, that she is passionate about . . . because if she did, perhaps from there she could notice patterns or realize a theme she hadn't thought about before. Then I said to use colored pencils. And then I said I'd make my own with her. So here it is. (It will pop up quite large if you click on it.)
What's hilarious to me is that I was great at drawing until about 3rd or 4th grade, and then I stalled out. And my drawing skills are still exactly at that level (and it's soooo painfully obvious.) But I love me some colored pencils and crayons and Sharpies and I doodle and write anyway, because it makes me happy. And that's the whole point of this activity.
(I drew this in my Smash Book, which is why it's on pretty paper. Killed two birds with one stone, needed to add something to it anyway LOL.)
