Wow, this is my 500th post!  Time flies when we're having fun, right?  :)

I'm really happy with how this page turned out.  This week's kit from Eva Kipler (have I mentioned I love being on a creative team again?) was "Dancing Tween."  (Find it at SweetShoppeDesigns!)  Since I have a 7 year old boy, I kind of HAD to go back to my own teen photos.

 

All I can think when I look at this picture is: wow. big. glasses.  That, and I would LOVE to have that hair again.  Should have appreciated it at the time - amazing what 14 years of aging does to a person.  ;)

Jake convinced my mom and I to take him to Chuck E. Cheese during his holiday break from school.  And then I couldn't convince him to sit still enough to get centered for a booth photo of the two of us.  Goober.  :)

I feel like I was a bit limited for paper choice because of the couch in the photo.  :)  But I like the shabby chic style (and have a huge amount of this kind of paper) so it worked out. 

I'm really liking bracket journaling spots lately - this one is from a Making Memories set.

He wasn't so much in the mood for pictures at this point.

I'm trying to get better at element clusters . . . I branched out and cut out the sticker sheet outlines of stickers - mostly because I ran out of the shapes I needed.  :)
