Computer Passwords Book

Jake has several websites that he loves to play on which require a user name and password.  I've been keeping this information on random index cards around the computer, but they're forever getting misplaced.  I figured that making a small book to keep track of the information made much more sense than the continued scavenger hunt for the index cards.

I made the book book all by my little old self. More info on this at the bottom.  Passwords are blurred out, obviously (so HA you can't play with his Webkinz.  LOL.)

Dr. Seuss week album

So the husband and I had a chance to volunteer in Jake's classroom (I can call him that because he is forever calling me "the wife") and I of course took lots and lots of pictures.  We had a really fun morning with the class and I have been wanting to do something nice for the teacher . . . So I hand-made her an 18 page mini-book about our Dr. Seuss green eggs and ham celebration.  (Hubby cooked the kids green eggs and ham on a skillet, and I read the kids a few books and helped to corral them.)

Oh, and this is the duplicate album I made for Jake, with just a few adjustments (mostly first-person journaling.)

Naturally the other kids' faces are blurred because hey, it's the internet . . . but I think you can get the gist of the album anyway.  Full album after the jump.

Nashville Zoo Shutterfly Book

I made this in April 2008, and it just dawned on me that I didn't post it here.  Rather than take a lot of time to make a "scrapbook," I decided to make a Shutterfly book of purely pictures and text.  I did, however, use Photoshop to format almost all the pages myself.  There's 112 pictures total in the book (I think), and it didn't take TOO terribly long to throw together.  ;)

(My best friend and I decided to take the kids - my boy and her 3 girls - before the weather here in Nashville got too hot.  However we ended up going on a day that was still cold and very windy.  Geniuses, we are.)

The title page (right, above) was one that HAD to do done within Shutterfly.  See all others after the jump.
