Mother's Day 2007
Have been going through my picture files, making sure I do something fun with all the good pics. :) This is for Jake's "mom & me" album. (Will go well in Nana's album, too!)
Rock on!
This is something really major in our lives -- Jake was born with a tongue-tie, and we kept getting told that it was no big deal. As he grew, it REALLY affected his speech and eating, so last fall we had it corrected with surgery. He's still working toward catching up with his speech, but he'll get there eventually. It's important to me to put something about this in the scrapbook -- when he's older, he probably won't even remember having those problems, but they're HUGE to me right now.

This is a lift of Bree Clarkson. click here to see original layout. Journaling is almost exactly what I wrote on my blog a few days after I took the picture -- I just copied and pasted it into Photoshop. :)
