I LOVE these pictures of Jake and my mom . . . and I love how this turned out with the negative strip (which I found at peppermintcreative.com). I think it's fun to scrap the less-than-perfect pictures . . . because my life feels SO less-than-perfect, so often. But at least I'm honest about it. LOL.

This is my little sister and her kitty. :)
My sister is moving to Indiana this weekend, so the pet menagerie at mom's house will be a little less. While I was thinking about it, I wanted to make a layout about the 1/2 year that there were 3 pets at mom's house.
But the good news? Jake loves Aries the cat so much, mom is going to get another cat soon. So that's fun. :)

Here is a layout I made for my tote for the fall. :) This is the first 12x12 page I've ever made -- I usually create my sqaure layouts with my 8x8 albums in mind.
(for those wondering, the boy is mine, the 3 girls belong to my best friend, who is in that top center picture.)
See, I TOLD you I'd make another multi-photo layout. :) Long story why the angel is special, but I've been waiting since Jake was a baby to get that nativity set, and I finally just put it on the credit card this year. Some things are worth the extra expense!!!! It's a lot more special to me than it is to Jake, but he loves it, too.
I've been on a one-photo layout kick lately . . . not sure what's up with that. LOL. At least I'm getting some fun stories told. I'll make it a priority for my next layout to be multi-photo, just so I can redeem myself. LOL.
(yes, I realize the two left layouts are basically the same design. LOL. It's a good one. Also, remember that each layout will open larger if you click on it.)
I really like the flexibility of digital to let me fit my journaling perfectly on the page -- this story cracks me up, and is just one that needed to be told!
This page would fall under the "boring, random every-day life stuff" category. It's a pretty good representation of our lives and how we spend our free time -- we just kind of hang out with P and the girls, doing whatever. But it's SO fun! :)
