Instead of worrying about making a layout about EVERY cute thing your kids do (or in this case, my kid and his friend, LOL), why not make a two-page layout for every month, with the best photos? An overview like this is more energetic and fun (just like your child's everyday life!)

My 27th birthday
Well, a year and three weeks later, I have finally made a page about LAST YEAR'S birthday! (Hey, I haven't even UPLOADED the pictures from this year's birthday! I'm so far behind right now.) This page was a TOTAL scraplift of this page by Kim Weiss.

Halloween '06
We went Trick-or-Treating with my best friend and her 3 daughters last year, and it was SO fun. I had like 100 photos to choose from, and I narrowed it down to 10. LOL.

Me & My Buddy
Ya know how sometimes you take 4 or 5 photos of people together, hoping that ONE will be really good? Whenever I have someone take pictures of me and Jake, I'm sure to say "Take a few more!" And I'm ALL for making a page with ALL of those photos -- 'cause the variations are what is interesting (and funny!) I think a series of photos from one 5-minute period speaks volumes about a relationship. :)

New baby
The fold-out in this layout is actually only held to the layout with those hinge-stickers! (They're cardstock weight.) I gave myself a TON of journaling space on this layout by adding the fold-out. ;)

Sadie
I could make 100 different layouts with the same couple sets of pictures of Sadie, and Jake would NEVER get tired of looking at them. Most of the pictures on these pages have been used in 2 or 3 layouts, and you know what? I'll probably use them again. :)
