Hey all --
someone e-mailed me with a news story from California, that someone with my same name and age died totally randomly . . . so if anyone else sees that news story, no, it is NOT me! I'm still alive, although I'm extremely sick and I slept until 4 p.m. yesterday!!!!
Here's an excerpt:
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Jan. 14) - A woman who competed in a radio station's contest to see how much water she could drink without going to the bathroom died of water intoxication, the coroner's office said Saturday.
Jennifer Strange, 28, was found dead Friday in her suburban Rancho Cordova home hours after taking part in the "Hold Your Wee for a Wii" contest in which KDND 107.9 promised a Nintendo Wii video game system for the winner.
Umm, totally random and sad. But not me.

That is sad and weird how she is the same age and same last name as you do. My younger brother told me a few years ago to never drink more than 8 glasses a water a day because you can kill yourself that way, and in basic training he saw guys die from it. At that time I was downing 16-18 glasses a day! After he told me that, I am back to 6-8 glasses a day.

Whew, I had to come here to make sure. Alright, good to go. Quite the coincidence.

OMG I heard this story on the news, then saw the name in the newspaper - major panic until I saw where she lived. Very sad story. Glad you're okay!

I just saw that story today which is totally bizarre. I didn't make the connection, though. What a dork!
