A new site from me!

I know, seriously, how many sites do I need?  But this one is the most helpful yet!

This is for those of you who are new to scrapbooking and have trouble figuring out how to arrange your photos . . . or for any scrapper who needs new ideas for page design.

It's called "Layouts by the Numbers," and it's my favorite scrapbook layouts, arranged by the number of photos in the layout.  You have 3 photos you want to make a page with?  Click on the "3 photos" category and see a dozen ideas.

There's also a "Focus on Journaling" section, for those of you who need help figuring out how to include journaling, or just figuring out what to say. And a "Fold-Outs" section, for layouts with hinged elements to make room for more photos and journaling underneath.

Oh, and I've posted literally like 50 new, never-before-seen scrapbook layouts that I've made in the past year.

Two great e-mails

I love getting e-mails like this, it makes me feel like I'm doing something right!  LOL.

January 20th:

I just wanted to let you know that you're site has been a big help to me. I just started getting into computer scrapbooking a few weeks ago and had bought some kits and downloaded them to my computer without really knowing what I was doing (as far as saving them, accessing them, etc). I came along your site after checking out some websites I found in one of my scrapbooking magazines. I saw the link to your site and starting exploring it and saw all the advice you had regarding zipfiles.  I had no idea I had to unzip them! I'm thinking to myself "what is she talking about"?  After reading your article and following the directions you gave I was able to move all the elements I downloaded into an organized accessible file and use the elements with my software so easily. I think you've created a monster now! I'm going to be  buying tons more stuff and be digital scraping a lot more now.
I'll definitely be exlporing your site often to get more great tips. Thanks again!
Jennifer

Reflections on the Past Year

how photos and scrapbook pages hold my memories

and also . .

Yes, I am alive.

I've had at least 3 people e-mail me with a news story from California, that someone with my same name and age died totally randomly . . . so if anyone else sees that news story, no, it is NOT me! I'm still alive, although I'm extremely sick and I slept until 4 p.m. yesterday!!!!

Here's an excerpt:

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Jan. 14) - A woman who competed in a radio station's contest to see how much water she could drink without going to the bathroom died of water intoxication, the coroner's office said Saturday.

Jennifer Strange, 28, was found dead Friday in her suburban Rancho Cordova home hours after taking part in the "Hold Your Wee for a Wii" contest in which KDND 107.9 promised a Nintendo Wii video game system for the winner.

Umm, totally random and sad. But not me.

I believe in being kind of caught up
