I've been working with a lot of pictures of my grandma . . . I need to scan some more, but some I already had on my computer . . . and once again I had a kit to use for a creative team (Lauren Grier and Robin Carlton's Fudge Dream Supreme) so I made a page.
You know, I'll say this for creative teams -- it FORCES me to use pictures and make pages that otherwise I might not have gotten around to. And every time, I sit back when I'm done and I love what I'm left with. I like the motivation and the challenge and having a semi-deadline for it all. And what I get in return is the free kit (which I don't REALLY need, I have SO many digi-kits!) . . . but the best part is I've made a page that I love. And that's pretty awesome.
Well, I've moved the list of charity kits from this summer to here, because while they don't need to be on the front page anymore, I can't bear to move them completely off my blog quite yet.

I wanted to do something on her behalf that she could benefit from in the coming months. July 14th, 2006: Digitals is proud to announce the July 1 release of its newest charity kit: On Angels' Wings. This is truly Mega - 380 Mb unzipped of lovely elements with a coordinated color scheme and every penny of the $10 (even the PayPal fees) will be donated to SANDS, a stillbirth and neonatal support group in Austrailia. June 21st, 2006: The For Laura Charity Kit is a fund raiser sponsored by 16 independent designers that came together to support their friend, Laura Vanderbeek. The kit contains 4 separate but coordinating parts priced at $10 each. Each part is being hosted by a different site to help us keep the downloads running smoothly.
